Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Lakewood distinguishes City-maintained water mains, service lines to the meter pit, and customer-maintained private lines from the meter pit to the building. The current public rate and water pages reviewed do not publish a universal high-bill leak adjustment formula, repair-proof checklist, percentage credit, or deadline. Customers should stop the leak, retain repair records, and contact Utility Billing; the City may assess meter-reading checks at $25 per reading after the first check in a billing period.
