Pay City of Loveland Utilities – Water and Wastewater Utility Billing

Use the provider’s verified online, telephone, mail, or counter instructions. Check the final confirmation screen for the amount, processing date, and any transaction fee before submitting.

Primary online route

Use the official payment portal

The direct portal is the fastest route when it is available. The provider identifies its payment gateway as Paymentus, identified by the City’s 2026 service-fee notice as Loveland Utility Billing’s third-party payment processor.. Never enter account credentials into a lookalike site reached through an unsolicited message.

Telephone payment

Phone IVR

(970) 962-2111 for Utility Bill Payments and Utility Billing start/stop service. The current 2026 pages reviewed do not identify a separate automated IVR number from the primary billing line.

Have your account number and payment instrument ready. Follow the provider’s recorded prompts and retain the confirmation number.

Alternative channels

Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions

Pay by text

The current Loveland utility pages reviewed do not publish a text-to-pay keyword or SMS payment enrollment process. Customers can enroll in NoCo Alert for emergency notifications by texting NOCOALERT to 888777, but that is an emergency-alert service rather than a utility-payment system. Payments and autopay are handled through myaccount.lovgov.org.

Mail-in address

The current customer-facing pages reviewed do not expose a single general Loveland Utility Billing lockbox address; customers should use the remittance address printed on the utility statement or confirm it at (970) 962-2111. City offices are listed at 500 E. 3rd Street, Loveland, CO 80537.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

The City’s utility-billing materials indicate payments can be made in person through the Civic Center/City utility-billing office, but the current pages reviewed do not provide a complete 2026 counter address, hours, satellite location list, or instrument-by-instrument desk policy. Confirm walk-in payment availability and accepted cash/check/card types with Utility Billing at (970) 962-2111 before visiting.

Accepted digital instruments

What you can use online

Loveland’s current fee notice distinguishes credit/debit card payments processed through Paymentus from no-fee checking/savings AutoPay and one-time e-check payments. The online portal supports account registration, Quick Pay, paperless billing, and AutoPay. The current public pages do not identify digital wallets or specific card brands.

2026 transaction pricing

Convenience fees

Beginning June 1, 2026, Paymentus adds a 2.85% service fee to all credit- and debit-card payments. The fee is assessed and retained by Paymentus for card-processing costs, not by the City. AutoPay from a checking or savings account and one-time e-check payments are identified as no-fee alternatives.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Payment guidance

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by City of Loveland Utilities – Water and Wastewater Utility Billing and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
