Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions
Pay by text
Create or sign in to a Denver Water Online account using the account number and customer ID printed on the bill. Select Pay Bill, open the PAY-BY-TEXT option in the account menu, and follow the enrollment prompts. Denver Water sends a confirmation text after setup; reply H2O to verify enrollment. The service sends a bill reminder five days before the due date, stores the selected payment method for future use, and permits a quick text reply to pay while the customer continues receiving a paper or electronic bill. Customers should continue paying manually until the account confirms that automatic or text payment is active.
Mail-in address
Denver Water, P.O. Box 173343, Denver, CO 80217-3343. The correspondence and administration address is Denver Water, 1600 W. 12th Ave., Denver, CO 80204-3412, but checks and money orders should be sent to the dedicated pay-by-mail lockbox. Customers should write the account number on the check, make it payable to Denver Water, and mail early because a mailed payment may not prevent a scheduled turn-off for past-due charges.
Counters, drop boxes, and office hours
Denver Water does not advertise a single public cashier counter for ordinary bill payment. Customers can pay cash or use a PIN-based debit card at participating Western Union agent locations; locations and hours vary, and the customer should bring the statement with the account number and customer ID. Western Union payments may not stop a turn-off related to past-due charges, so customers at risk should call Denver Water Customer Care at 303-893-2444 during Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. service hours. The administration building at 1600 W. 12th Ave. is the correspondence address, not a guarantee of walk-in cashier service.
