Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions
Pay by text
Pay by text is available after the customer registers the account through Connecticut Water’s InvoiceCloud account experience. The public registration page confirms that registration can enable pay by text, e-billing, AutoPay, and scheduled future payments, but it does not publish a universal keyword, short code, or step-by-step SMS enrollment sequence; customers should complete registration from the official Pay Your Bill page and follow the text invitation presented for the account.
Mail-in address
Connecticut Water Co., P.O. Box 981015, Boston, MA 02298. Customers should include the invoice stub and write the Connecticut Water account number on the personal check so the lockbox can apply the payment correctly.
Counters, drop boxes, and office hours
Connecticut Water directs customers to more than 20,000 participating retail locations rather than publishing one universal utility cashier counter. Western Union Bill Pay locations include Big Y, Price Chopper, ShopRite, Stop & Shop, and Rite Aid; CheckFreePay locations include Walmart and Kmart. Western Union sites generally accept cash only and charge a retailer service fee; Walmart and Kmart accept cash or PIN-based debit cards and do not accept credit cards. Customers need their Connecticut Water statement, especially for the first payment. The company’s Clinton administrative address is 93 West Main Street, Clinton, CT 06413-1600, and customer-service phone hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; the reviewed pages do not state that the Clinton office is a public walk-in payment counter or publish a drop-box schedule.
