The reviewed Delray Beach utility pages do not publish text-to-pay keywords, a short code or SMS enrollment workflow. Customers can use the Tyler Enterprise ERP account/guest portal, e-billing, automatic bank drafting and the 24-hour IVR; text payment was not verified.

Mail-in address

City of Delray Beach Water, P.O. Box 288242, Tampa, FL 33630-8242. Checks or money orders should be payable to the City of Delray Beach, include the account number and payment stub, and should not be mailed as cash.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

City Hall Utility Billing cashiers, 100 NW 1st Avenue, first floor, Delray Beach, FL 33444, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. A drop box is located directly in front of City Hall. The City lists cash, check, money order and Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express at the cashier; during the July 2026 ERP blackout the drop box accepted checks only and payments were not posted until July 28.

Tyler Enterprise ERP supports e-checks, online accounts and securely stored credit-card information. The City also offers automatic bank drafting and a 24-hour IVR. The in-person page lists Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express; Apple Pay and Google Pay were not verified.

Convenience fees

Starting July 28, 2026, e-check payments incur $1.95; credit-card payments incur 3.25% with a $2.50 minimum; e-check and card payments by phone add $0.50 per transaction. Automatic bank drafting is described as having no additional service fee.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

The safest payment path is the one published by City of Delray Beach Water Utilities Department - Utility Billing Division and matched to the account information on your bill.
