Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
The current public Miami Beach pages do not publish a complete concealed-leak credit formula, repair-receipt checklist, or cap for reducing a high water bill. Customers should first check the meter and fixtures, stop the leak, preserve repair documentation, and submit a written billing or meter-error claim promptly; the portal FAQ says penalty charges can be waived only for a billing or meter error and the written claim must be filed within 10 days of the bill date. Sewer-related adjustments are handled through separate City forms, including a sewer-fee adjustment/pool-filling process, but the public pages do not establish a universal underground-leak credit.
