What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Warren Water's tariff provides a defined underground customer-service-line leak adjustment. The customer must report the leak within 30 days after being billed, submit the adjustment form, and allow a District representative to visually verify repair, generally within five business days. The adjusted bill uses the customer's prior three-month average plus 50% of gallons billed above that average, limited to a leak up to 700,000 gallons; gallons above 700,000 are billed at 100%. Only one adjustment is allowed in 12 months, the customer must acknowledge the repair and replacement guidance, and the Customer Service Supervisor or Billing Administrator must approve it.
