Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions
Pay by text
Standard SWBNO bill payment is online, phone, mail, in person, or AutoPay; the current public payment page does not publish a general SWBNO text-to-pay keyword. Customers on an eligible PromisePay plan can receive text reminders and notifications and manage payment methods through the PromisePay portal at swbno.promise-pay.com, but those texts are plan notifications rather than an unrestricted bill-payment credential flow.
Mail-in address
Cashiers Department, Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, 625 Saint Joseph Street, New Orleans, LA 70165. Send checks or money orders; bills are not considered paid until received by the SWBNO Cashiers Office.
Counters, drop boxes, and office hours
East Bank payment office: 625 Saint Joseph Street, New Orleans, LA 70165, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; accepts cash, checks, money orders, Visa, and Mastercard. West Bank payment office: 4021 Behrman Place, Suite M-2, New Orleans, LA 70131, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; accepts the same instruments. Third-party Fidelity Express payment locations are available through the official finder, but since January 12, 2015 they do not accept debit or credit cards for SWBNO payments. SWBNO advises that payment is not complete until received by its Cashiers Office.
