The direct portal is the fastest route when it is available. The provider identifies its payment gateway as KUBRA EZ-PAY for one-time payments; Liberty My Account for registered bank-account payments. Never enter account credentials into a lookalike site reached through an unsolicited message.

Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions

Pay by text

Liberty offers paperless-billing email or text notifications through My Account, including alerts that a bill is available or payment is due. The current New York Water pages do not publish a standalone text-to-pay keyword or short code.

Mail-in address

Liberty, 60 Brooklyn Avenue, Merrick, NY 11566. Customers should use the remittance address printed on the current bill when it differs.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

The current New York Water payment page lists online, phone, mail, bank bill-pay, and authorized payment locations but does not publish a staffed Merrick counter address or hours. Authorized payment locations should be checked through Liberty’s current payment-location search.

KUBRA one-time payment accepts credit card, debit card, or bank account. My Account supports fee-free one-time bank-account payments and scheduled automatic payments; the current page does not identify Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Convenience fees

$1.75 processing fee for credit/debit card payments through the Liberty vendor, including the automated phone card path. One-time checking-account payments through My Account are described as fee-free; the fee for the public guest-pay path is shown at checkout.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by Liberty New York Water - Merrick District and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
