Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
Payment must be received in the office by the 15th of each month; if the 15th is a weekend or holiday, it must arrive by the preceding business day to avoid the penalty.
Late-fee calculation
A 10% penalty applies to the net bill amount when payment is not received by the due date. A returned check may incur up to a $35 fee, and illegal reconnection or meter tampering can create additional charges.
Disconnection timeline
After the 15th, accounts with a previous balance of at least $50 and total bill of at least $100 are locked automatically. To restore service, the full bill and reconnection service fee must be paid; the reviewed page does not specify a prior mailed-notice day count.
