Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
Past-due notices are mailed around seven days after the bill due date, and an automated phone call is made around 14 days after the due date. The bill’s Disconnect date controls the final deadline.
Late-fee calculation
A $25 fee is charged to utility customers who do not pay by the Disconnect date. The City advises customers to maintain a $0 balance before enrolling in AutoPay to avoid late fees.
Disconnection timeline
Round Rock mails a past-due notice around day 7 after the due date and places an automated phone call around day 14. Service may be disconnected after the printed Disconnect date if the account remains unpaid; after disconnection, the customer must contact Utility Billing at (512) 218-5460 to report payment.
