Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
The bill is due on the 15th. Payments not received by the due date are subject to a late-payment penalty within two to four business days; the public 2026 page does not give a separate grace-day number.
Late-fee calculation
The current billing-practices page says a late-payment penalty is applied within two to four business days after the due date. The exact percentage or flat amount is not displayed in the public text; customers should call 940-440-9561 for the account-specific charge. Payments after 4:30 p.m. are posted the next day and may incur additional fees.
Disconnection timeline
Bills are mailed on the first and due on the 15th. The bill/late notice identifies a disconnect date; payment must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the stated deadline, and late drop-box payments post the next day. The reviewed public pages do not publish a universal day-count from due date to physical shutoff.
