Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Scottsdale distinguishes water-use investigation from sewer-charge adjustment. A customer should isolate the leak by taking a meter reading, stop all water use for at least 30 minutes, document movement, repair the private-side plumbing, and retain invoices or receipts. If the leak or pool refill distorted the December-February winter average, submit the City's sewer charge adjustment request before June 20 for review before the July recalculation; City Code states that requests for the current year are not accepted after August 31, and submission does not guarantee a credit. The approved adjustment addresses sewer volumetric charges rather than automatically forgiving water consumption.
