Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Customers should compare the current and prior meter readings printed on the bi-monthly bill, check toilets, irrigation, valves, and indoor fixtures, and document the meter reading while all fixtures are off. The reviewed public waterworks pages do not publish an automatic private-leak credit formula, repair-receipt deadline, percentage reduction, or lifetime cap. A customer should submit a written bill review promptly, include dated repair invoices, photographs, meter readings, and post-repair usage, and request an account investigation. The SB 998 policy preserves service while a timely bill appeal or review is pending; it is a bill-accuracy appeal, not a guaranteed leak-adjustment credit.
