Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
Five days after the last-business-day due date; payments received after that grace period incur a $5 late fee.
Late-fee calculation
The current billing page states that payments received after the five-day grace period are assessed a $5 late fee. Past-due amounts and additional service charges are due immediately; water is lienable under Colorado law and nonpayment can result in a property lien.
Disconnection timeline
Bills are due on the last business day of the month. Late notices are mailed mid-month, and any past-due balance plus service fees is due immediately to avoid disconnection. After full payment is received in the office, reconnection is scheduled by the end of the next business day; the public page does not specify a single fixed day count from notice to shutoff.
