The current Arvada billing pages reviewed do not publish a text-to-pay keyword or SMS enrollment number. Customers can create an online Paymentus account and enable AutoPay; the City also provides Ask Arvada for 24/7 electronic non-emergency water-problem reporting. No text-payment workflow is asserted.

Mail-in address

City of Arvada Utility Billing, 8101 Ralston Road, Arvada, CO 80002. The City instructs customers to include the account number and/or property address with a mailed payment.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

City Hall, 8101 Ralston Road, Arvada, Colorado 80002, accepts in-person water-bill payments Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Two payment drop boxes accept check or money order only: the drive-through at the Post Office, 5885 Allison Street, and the main entrance at City Hall, 8101 Ralston Road. Online payments and the 24/7 phone line are available outside counter hours. The City’s pages do not publish a separate satellite counter or after-hours cash desk.

The official payment page identifies online Paymentus account payments, online AutoPay, 24/7 telephone credit-card payments, and direct debit history; previous ACH auto-pay enrollments were canceled May 7, 2026 and customers must re-enroll online. The current pages do not enumerate specific card brands or digital wallets, so those are left to the portal’s checkout presentation.

Online AutoPay is described as available at no additional cost. The reviewed current pages do not state a separate one-time card convenience fee or percentage; customers should confirm any Paymentus transaction charge before submission.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by City of Arvada Utility Billing and Water Utilities and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.
