Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. The current Arvada payment page does not publish a universal number of days between the printed due date and a water shutoff. Customers with past-due amounts must make a one-time payment because past-due amounts will not auto-draw.
Late-fee calculation
The current Arvada water-billing pages reviewed do not publish a fixed late-fee amount or percentage. The City provides payment plans, monthly equalized payments based on the previous 12 months of consumption, and one-time hardship credits. Any delinquency charge, collection cost, or account-specific fee should be confirmed with Utility Billing at (720) 898-7070.
Disconnection timeline
If water is shut off for lack of payment, Arvada requires payment in full to restore service and asks customers to schedule restoration by calling Utility Billing during regular hours. The City does not publish a universal day-count calendar on the current page. A Water Shutoff Review Request may be filed online or at City Hall within seven days of the shutoff-notice date if the customer believes reasonable cause for suspension did not exist.
