Payment channels

Pay Broward County Water and Wastewater Services (WWS)

Use the provider’s verified online, telephone, mail, or counter instructions. Check the final confirmation screen for the amount, processing date, and any transaction fee before submitting.

Primary online route

Use the official payment portal

The direct portal is the fastest route when it is available. The provider identifies its payment gateway as AccessBROWARD, Broward County's account and payment system. Never enter account credentials into a lookalike site reached through an unsolicited message.

Telephone payment

Phone IVR

(954) 831-3250. The number supports payment by phone and 24-hour automated account-status information; live Customer Service hours are generally Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m.–4:45 p.m.

Have your account number and payment instrument ready. Follow the provider’s recorded prompts and retain the confirmation number.

Alternative channels

Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions

Pay by text

A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. Broward WWS's current public payment pages publish website, phone, cash-at-Amscot, walk-in, and automatic bank-account payment methods, but no pay-by-text keyword, shortcode, or enrollment sequence.

Mail-in address

Water & Wastewater Services, Attention: Customer Service, 2555 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. The County's current service-form and payment materials direct mailed applications and payments to this Customer Payment Center address; customers should follow the address printed on the payment coupon for routine bill remittances.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

Full-service payment centers are WWS Pompano Beach at 2555 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33069, open Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m., and WWS Lauderhill at 1491 NW 40th Avenue, Suite 7, Lauderhill, FL 33313, open Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. The Call Center at the Pompano address operates Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m. and 2–4:45 p.m. Additional authorized bill-payment locations are listed by the County, and cash payments are accepted at any Amscot location. Customers should use only County-authorized sites and retain the receipt.

Accepted digital instruments

What you can use online

Electronic check/e-check, credit card through AccessBROWARD, recurring automatic withdrawal from a checking or savings account, and bank bill-pay. Cash is available at authorized Amscot locations and walk-in payment centers; checks and money orders are accepted through the County's remittance/application process.

2026 transaction pricing

Convenience fees

A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. The current FY2026 WWS online-payment page identifies electronic check and credit-card payment but does not publish a universal card, e-check, or portal convenience-fee amount. Any charge should be reviewed on the AccessBROWARD confirmation screen.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Payment guidance

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by Broward County Water and Wastewater Services (WWS) and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
