Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
0 after the stated due-day cutoff; the bill explanation says a late-payment fee is assessed if the balance is not paid by 4:30 p.m. on the due date. The bill also identifies a later last day to pay before the non-payment fee and service interruption.
Late-fee calculation
The current miscellaneous-charge schedule lists a late fee of $4 plus 1.5% of the unpaid balance. It also lists a $62 non-payment fee, a $100 after-hours reconnection fee, and a $29 premise-visit charge. Deltona's FAQ says a previous unpaid balance is due immediately even when the current bill's due date has not arrived.
Disconnection timeline
The City states that the late fee applies after the 4:30 p.m. due-date cutoff, then a non-payment fee may be assessed on the last day to pay and the account becomes subject to service interruption. The reviewed public pages do not state the exact number of calendar days from that final notice to physical disconnection.
