Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Pittsburgh Water's 2026 rate settlement created a discretionary leak credit for customers who repair leaks and sign up for free high-use alerts, while the permanent Line Repair and Water Conservation Program provides free repairs on exposed plumbing and water-saving devices for income-qualified customers. Customers should monitor daily and historical usage in the Customer Advantage Portal, stop the leak, arrange a qualified repair, retain invoices/photos/meter readings, and contact PGH2O Cares or Customer Service to request the account-specific credit. The public pages do not publish a universal percentage or maximum for the new discretionary credit. ALCOSAN and wastewater treatment effects should be discussed separately, and any private service-line responsibility remains with the property owner unless a qualifying program applies.
