Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
The monthly bill is due 15 calendar days after it posts. The second late-fee notice gives the customer six calendar days to pay the past-due amount before interruption processing continues.
Late-fee calculation
The City issues a late-fee notice, but the accessible policy does not state the numeric late percentage. Payment arrangements waive penalties while the customer makes regular agreed payments. Residential arrangements require at least 10% down and generally retire the remaining arrears within six months; commercial arrangements require at least 25% down.
Disconnection timeline
Del Rio uses three notices: first, the monthly bill with a 15-day due date; second, a late-fee notice stating the late fee has posted and the past-due amount is due within six calendar days; third, an email or red-door tag stating the amount needed to avoid interruption. If unpaid, service can be interrupted. Same-day restoration is available during business days when the full past-due balance is paid by 4:00 p.m.
