Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Beaumont publishes an Application of Leak Repair Adjustment. The customer must submit the form to the Customer Service Division within 60 days after repair completion, and the City limits consideration to two applications within a 12-month period. The applicant must provide proof of work, receipts for repair parts or a billed plumber/company invoice, and sign the form as the person named on the water billing record. Commercial repairs require a licensed plumber and the plumber's license number. The City may inspect the repair; review takes up to 90 days; the customer remains responsible for billed usage while the request is pending and nonpayment may cause disconnection and additional charges. Submit the completed application to City of Beaumont Customer Service Division, P.O. Box 3827, Beaumont, TX 77704. The public form does not state the credit percentage or gallon cap, so approval and math must be confirmed by the City.
