Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Waterworks may grant a discretionary credit equal to 50% of water and sewer consumption charges above the account's 12-month average, excluding service, fire-protection, sewer-maintenance, solid-waste, and other non-consumption charges. The customer must locate and repair the leak, submit the online request within 60 days of the original due date, and provide a plumber invoice or plumbing-supply receipt. The request can cover up to three consecutive monthly bills; residential consumption is capped at four times average use and other accounts at seven times average use. A recent adjustment, seasonal use, theft, construction damage, tampering, or excluded hose/toilet circumstances can disqualify the request.
